On November 18th, 2025, when police officers from China’s Public Security Bureau arrested 18 Zion Church pastors and co-workers it had a traumatic effect on the spouses and children of the pastors and co-workers.
One example of this is a family where both spouses were pastors with Zion Church. One of the spouses was arrested and is still imprisoned. Since the time of the arrest, the signs of trauma have dramatically increased in their child, who witnessed their parent being taken away by police. As time has passed, their child’s communication abilities have significantly diminished. With their child’s regression and the uncertainty of their spouse’s incarceration, the parent has had to pause their full-time ministry duties to care for their child.
The parent said, “they really need prayers” and that they have been “praying for God’s healing and restoration.”
Back to Jerusalem is helping support the children of Zion Church by sending funding for school, clothes, travel, housing and legal fees for families. You can help support the Zion Church families as well through continued prayer.
