BTJ Prayer Guide for Syria: Day 24

The Dream Center
In the town of Dohuk is a shelter for many of the Syrians that are running for their lives and looking for help. The oasis in the desert is called the Dream Center and is run by an amazing woman named Barbara White.
Barbara has spent her life serving others. From America to Africa to Kurdistan, she has been helping those in need.
Barbara has been living in the Kurdish war zone near the border of Syria and Iraq since 2015. Barbara visits hospitals, administers medication, and helps deliver fuel and food to families in need.
Now Barbara also runs a special language school that provides special skills to Assyrian Christians that are looking to better their lives after suffering invasion and persecution.

Prayer
May the Lord continue to use Barbara and her partners in both Syria and Iraq. May she be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to bring about irreversible change. May love, grace, peace, hope, and joy all be shared through her and may it bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ.
Scripture
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
