BTJ Newsletter: 10 Years of Informing Supporters

10 years ago this month, we were working on our 2013 newsletter, February edition. In the beginning. we only had two volunteers and a handful of names on a list who wanted updates. Today, we send our bi-monthly newsletters to nations all around the world from our offices in the US, Canada, the UK, Poland, Brazil, and Holland.

Here is the newsletter from 10 years ago:

FEB13 BTJ News

Our goal for our BTJ newsletter is the same as it was ten years ago – to keep it small, simple and cheap to produce and ship, and keep our partners and supporters up to date with what is going on in the field. That.is.it!

If you haven’t signed up for the BTJ Newsletter, you can do that by sending an email here: update@backtojerusalem.com

The award for the best cover of any BTJ Newsletter has to be from the issue that covered the operation to deliver electronic Bibles to ISIS with drones, in a campaign called BIBLES NOT BOMBS.

More than anything else, the BTJ Newsletter gives information about how to pray for the Chinese underground house church like never before and is a great tool to share with your friends, Bible study, home group, prayer group, and church. So many Christians today find themselves overwhelmed with work, school, politics, and the economy. Many do not realize how fellow believers are dying for their faith every day. The BTJ Newsletter provides an easy-to-digest snapshot of what is happening today in the world of missions. It is short, to the point, and can be consumed in a matter of minutes.

Dr. Eugene Bach is a known trouble-maker with an active imagination and sinful past. He has a PhD, but is not a real doctor, so please do not call for him during a medical emergency on an airplane when someone is having a heart attack. Eugene started working for Back to Jerusalem in the year 2000 after a backroom deal involving Chinese spies, the NRA, Swiss bankers, and a small group of Apostolic Christians that only baptize in Jesus’ name. He spends most of his time in closed countries attempting to topple governments by proclaiming the name of Jesus and not taking showers. From time-to-time he pretends to be a writer. He is not good at it, but everyone around him tries to humor him.
