“There has been a big earthquake. We need help immediately,” read the text from the Back to Jerusalem missionaries living in Nepal.

Nepal was smashed on Friday night by a 5.6 earthquake that toppled buildings, destroyed homes, and killed at least 157 people. The earthquake could be felt as far away as India’s capital, New Delhi.

“We are focused on providing urgently needed materials right now,” the missionary wrote in a message from Nepal. The missionary, who cannot be named for security reasons, is leading a team of other missionaries who have been serving in Nepal since the last major earthquake of April 2015, which killed 8,964 people and injured 21,952 more.

BTJ has sent immediate aid through the missionaries on the ground and additional help is needed. To help this effort click below.  100% of all donations given to BTJ Disaster Relief efforts from Nov 5-13 will go to the Nepal disaster relief effort.

Dr. Eugene Bach is a known trouble-maker with an active imagination and sinful past. He has a PhD, but is not a real doctor, so please do not call for him during a medical emergency on an airplane when someone is having a heart attack. Eugene started working for Back to Jerusalem in the year 2000 after a backroom deal involving Chinese spies, the NRA, Swiss bankers, and a small group of Apostolic Christians that only baptize in Jesus’ name. He spends most of his time in closed countries attempting to topple governments by proclaiming the name of Jesus and not taking showers. From time-to-time he pretends to be a writer. He is not good at it, but everyone around him tries to humor him.
