BTJ Earrings to Raise Support for Oppressed Women

This year, on International Women’s Day, we released the new explosive book from Mariam Ibraheem, SHACKLED, where she shares for the first time in detail about her imprisonment in Sudan for refusing to deny the name of Jesus Christ.
Since leaving prison, Mariam has used her voice to speak for other women who are living in oppression and persecution as she once was. The many helpless women that Mariam met and ministered to when she was on death row in Sudan has impacted her in a way that has changed her life forever.
This is the inspiration behind the BTJ earrings and proceeds go directly to projects that help women who are living in oppression.
These unassuming hand-made, earth tone, earrings might appear meaningless at first glance, but they carry a secret message. Carefully carved from wood, the earrings have the Chinese character meaning “return” or 回.
The Character 回 is in the first Chinese word used to translate the vision Back to Jerusalem or to “Return” to Jerusalem. This Chinese character 回 is made up of two smaller characters – one character 口 meaning wall or border and another smaller 口 meaning mouth or gate.
Taken in this way, this Chinese character literally refers to the prophecy of the Messiah returning to the East Gate of Jerusalem (Isaiah 43) by pointing to returning to the ‘gate’ of the ‘walls’ of Jerusalem.
The BTJ earrings are symbolic of a prophecy that is dear to Christian believers living in persecution. They yearn for the day when the Savior will return again. They pray for the day when the Bride Groom will enter through the East Gate of Jerusalem to restore His Kingdom and take His bride.
The earrings are in limited supply and are available to purchase here.
Proceeds will be used to support BTJ projects that help women who are living in oppressive nations. Among the projects is business training for Christian women in Somalia and Iran, as well as investments into independent women-owned businesses in Iraq.
