People have called the year 2020 the worst year in recent memory. Some have even said that if 2020 were a drink it would taste like a milkshake – made from a colonoscopy bag.

But good things can come from disastrous times. For instance, did you know that in Chinese the word used for “crisis”, weiji (危机), is the same word used for “opportunity”?

No, not really… but if it were true it would have made a cool story. However, the Bible does teach us that God can use every situation for the good of those that love Him (Romans 8:28).

2020 has been a difficult year, no doubt about that, but we believe that God is using this challenging time in our world to create opportunities that have never been seen before. In fact, 2020 was one of BTJ’s busiest years. We saw the Gospel spread in areas that have never heard the Good News before. We started more projects this year than ever before. We sent Bibles to new regions that we have never sent Bibles into before. We have been blown away by the doors that God has opened up on the mission field.

Brother Yun has been inspired during these challenging times and he is no stranger to hardship. This is why he is hosting the BTJ BOLD FAITH WORKSHOP 2020.

During the excruciating time that Brother Yun spent in China’s maximum-security prison, God demonstrated His eternal faithfulness. When Brother Yun was being tortured for his faith, God showed him visions and dreams that changed his life forever. Brother Yun believes that the challenges of 2020 can also reveal the dreams and visions that God has for your life as well.
