African History in the Bible?

Bishop Williams joins Eugene on the podcast to discuss the history of Christianity in relation to Africa – a topic that the Church has limited knowledge about.

Are you aware of the struggles faced by the disciples of Jesus in Africa? It is worth noting that notable Christian scholars, such as Polycarp, Saint Augustine, and Tertullian, emerged from Africa. While they may be mentioned or referenced to in evangelical churches, many people are unaware of their origins.

Christianity is not a European religion; it was already in Africa before Europe. It is worth noting that the first five books of the Bible, known as the Torah, were written in Africa. However, it is important to understand that the center of Christianity is not defined by a physical location, but rather by the presence of the Lord among His people. We should remember that we do not have to go to a specific place to find God; instead, God finds us.

Let’s unite and complete the great commission. We need to accept the challenge Jesus has given us so that we can feel the exhilaration of victory.
