BIBLES NEEDED IN CHINA

With the historic crackdowns on Christianity in China, the number one problem with printing Bibles is not printing, distribution, or getting reports. Those these three things are greatly inhibited at the moment, but the number one problem with illegally printing Bibles in China is banking.
Getting funding into China to print Bibles has been a challenge, but we have a backdoor that allows us to get money into the country. The lack of banking options creates a need for more partners on the ground who are willing to risk their businesses and their livelihoods to get Bibles into China.
This high risk on all fronts points to the desperate need for Bibles in China. There is a HUGE lack of Bibles in China right now and BTJ is working hard to get them into the hands of believers.

Prior to 2019, BTJ had always had a distribution map for Bibles, showing the locations where Bibles have been delivered, but in the last three years that has not been possible because we have not had face-to-face meetings with distributors and the network leaders have gone into deep hiding, practicing ‘radio silence.’
These are network leaders who we have worked with for almost 30 years and have developed a level of trust. During times of persecution, this is an essential element for clandestine projects on the ground.
However, this year will be different. China is open again for the first time in three years and it is possible to meet face-to-face with network leaders. This means that it will be possible to again meet with our partners and get more detailed distribution reports of Bibles, which are desperately needed.
