Bible Sales and Church Attendance Jumps to New Levels in US – This is GREAT NEWS for the Future of Missions!

There seems to have been a massive increase in church attendance and Bible sales in the west. This has been especially noticeable after the assassination of Christian political activist, Charlie Kirk.

Last month, September, showed a 36% increase in Bible sales in comparison to one year ago and churches are writing online that their churches have never seen such numbers in their weekly attendance.

HarperCollins Christian Publishing, one of largest Christian publishers in the U.S., reported that people aged 18-34 comprised a large portion of the purchasers. This is a massive transition and has the potential to have a huge impact on missions.

If Christians read their Bible and grow a passion for following Christ, they will undoubtedly want to see the return of Jesus Christ. In their search of the Bible to see when the return of Jesus Christ will take place, they will eventually arrive to Matthew 24:14 and read Jesus’ words, “And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

The increase of church attendance and Bible purchases this year is likely to change the way western Christians view missions, and this is an encouraging sign for the future of missions in the most unreached areas of the world.
