JIHAD: The Day I Died (eBook)
JIHAD: The Day I Died
Brother Abdull with Eugene Bach
Abdull’s grandfather was a radical Iranian Ayatollah, and Abdull was expected to follow in his footsteps. Eventually, Abdull joined an elite military unit. When Iran declared a holy war, Abdull was hand-selected for the task. On one secret mission, he was wounded and died. He was venerated as a martyr of Islam, but three days after Abdull’s body was placed into a morgue, he came back to life.
His shocking transformation led him on a journey of grace, love, forgiveness and truth. What he discovered sent the religious leaders of Iran into a fury, eventually landing him on death row in an Iranian prison. Those whom he once fought and died for want him dead, but for a man who has been given new life, is there anything left to fear?

One will get really drawn into the life of Abdull, very colorfully and well written. Nice insight into life in Iran during islamic revolution (alltough i littlebit felt that it was a Shah (king) advertisement). I did not specifically saw in the book that he was in the morgue for 3 days. And i hoped that all the things written there are truth becouse sometimes i felt like its just from someones mind but i dont want to say it wasnt. I skipped a part of book where it was about fighting in war and maybe there did not had to be so much about the tortures even though it did/could happened. Thats my opinion. Anyway it had parts when i was really touched by God.

This book is not to read it, but to experience it!
Hi. My name is Ivan from Bulgaria. I want to share a bit about this new book. I ordered it in an e-book format a week ago. Since then I can’t stop reading it. I was reading at home, at work, during the day, during the night. I never read so quickly a book in my life even in my mother language. But this book is an explosion. Every sentence I was reading I was experiencing it. Even though my English is not perfect and I didn’t know some of the words it was like I was there with Abdull. I was on the battle field running with him trying to figure out how this tank is suppose to run. I was in the hospital and then in the jail. Everything in the book was real for me. Like the Holy Spirit was reveling to me the story personally.
This book open a whole new world upfront of me how to see Muslims from their perspective. How they think and understand and live under the heavy pressure of the Islam not knowing the love Jesus have for them. Amazing story I believe writen down by the Holy Spirit.
I encourage every one who have a calling from God to serve among Muslims to read this masterpiece if he wants to be more effective in reaching them with the Love of The Father.
Blessings.

I couldn’t put this book down until I had finished reading it. I highly recommend it and would describe it as challenging, confronting and faith building all at the same time. A great book to buy extra copies of to give away!

I’ve read books trying to bring to life an understanding of who Paul was and what it cost him to follow Jesus but this book really did it for me. Abdul was raised to be a Pharisee of Pharisees and became instead, “the refuse of the world,” bearing on his body, “the marks of Jesus Christ.” This man’s story also colorfully depicts both compassionately and honestly, the darkness of a religious spirit in the hands of Satan, whether Islam, or communism, or Christianity, and what it does to humans beings. It can be in any heart, anywhere, a subtle poison. America needs this book! The story so inspires a purer love for the exclusively Christian distinctions and particularly the Lord Jesus Christ.

I came to know this man personally two years ago and I must admit I would not dare to believe what is written in this book if I had not come to know him personally (and had spent more than a week with him under the same roof).
But having read this book in three days I can only say it is so authentic and faith building that every muslim and christian MUST read it. Please do not miss the opportunity to be encouraged in your faith and learn how we can experience the king of kings as a father who has a job for us .

This is a very good book. It was interesting to learn of the life of a Grandson of an Ayatollah, what an interesting perspective to see. Crazy brutal and abusive, but interesting. Abdula was a war hero within his country. His coming to faith was very inspiring. A glory to God.

Thank you for the book Jihad, the Day I Died. Abdul is an extraordinary man, clearly chosen by God to spread the message of Jesus. His story is a powerful testimony of resilience and faith.
I cannot comprehend how he endured such unspeakable brutality in prison and remained alive to share what he experienced. His perseverance puts many of us Christians to shame in our lukewarm commitment. The zeal and endurance he displayed are beyond words.
Reading this book has deeply moved me. I wish I could contact Abdul personally and write to him, to ask how he experienced Jesus so profoundly and to learn more about his current work in the world.

Just finished reading it. When you think you’re going through a rough patch and then you read this material. Being a Christian in the Middle East is another level of courage and conviction. I instantly recommended to my family and sent a copy for my sisters to read. God bless
