416 Million Christians Live in ‘Lands of Persecution’

According to an article put out by Breitbart on New Years day 2022, “The year 2021 was another year of ‘pain and suffering’ for the persecuted Christians around the world.”
A Christian charity, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), reports that global Christian persecution has increased this last year, 2021. The Vatican also reported that some 416 million Christians live in “lands of persecution.” This means, according to the Vatican, 416 million people risk harassment, discrimination, and violence daily due to what they believe.
Where are these “Lands of Persecution?” In an interview with ACN’s Italian director Alessandro Monteduro, he reported that these lands extend to Africa, from sub-Saharan Africa to East Africa. He said, “There are at least a couple dozen terrorist organizations that have the ambition, from their point of view, to install caliphates in their territories, such as Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Mali, Cameroon, or northern Nigeria.”
Burkina Faso was a country that had only known peaceful coexistence between different communities, until 2015. Now, 60 percent of the country can’t be reached for help with humanitarian level aid, according to the World Health Organization.
This is not only taking place in Africa. In fact, Monteduro pointed out that a congregation Mother Teresa of Calcutta had founded was harassed for proselytism.
Unfortunately, 2022 has not started off without incident. In Myanmar, there has already been 35 people dead in an anti-Christian attack.
Horrifically, Monteduro tells how in Pakistan many young women and girls live a terrible drama of being kidnapped, converted by force, raped, and forced to marry their kidnapper. According to Monteduro, these atrocities, “…are denounced by many charity agencies and church organizations, but there is insufficient outrage.”

Persecution of Brothers or Sisters in Christ should make us feel pain for the body of Christ, his church and this is likely to be our experience in the West sooner than later based on the trends. Giving your time, talent or treasure to BTJ is a small way to help our family of believers, buy a shirt, a book, some tea or just donate. By the way, Eugene Bach’s new book is excellent, his best yet and absolutely a great read and very timely…buy it and read it as soon as you can and buy copies for friends and family, your church or anyone that knows his/her Creator!
Christians around the World are persecuted in many Nations. They are also these Nations besides the ones listed above: North Korea, China, Burma,
Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Iran, Syria, Iraq, India, and Tibet. There is no need to persecute Christians who love and worship God also known as Allah to every Muslim. Many Muslims who were my Facebook friends call him God and ask for his Mercy. The 3 Major Religions in the World and who are also situated in Israel, very Holy Ground where the birth of Jesus happened and it also has rich History with Muslims and Jews formerly known as Hebrews. Side by side daily both Jewish Men and Muslim Men are standing at the Wailing Wall praying faithfully to God/Allah. Last year someone posted me on my Facebook page 2 beautiful photos depicting the beauty of these 2 Religions and how they can Co-Exist with one another.. One photo was a Jewish Boy and a Muslim Boy arms around their shoulders smiling and talking. The other were 2 Men in the street praying side by side, the Muslim Man on his Mat praying to Allah and the Jewish Man with his Rabinical Garments on praying to God. Both are beautiful photos sent to me on my faceboook page by Muslim friends and I will forever Cherish these 2 beautiful photos.
